Hey ya'll

So it's getting closer and closer to Christmas and my dad is going to be clearing out his workshop/garage. This is where he has his PC and he says he wants to get rid of it to make some room (he'd rather have a milling machine). I noticed he was looking at laptops to replace it and I asked him if he was looking for portability or just for something compact and he said he didn't care about portability, he just wanted something small (already has a laptop). That's when compact PC's came into my head. I'm trying to come up with a short list for him to choose from (he will probably treat himself to one) but I need help finding the ones best suited to him. He will primary be internet browsing, using it to control a cnc machine, watching videos and he will probably be using lightroom.

I want one that he can screw to a vesa mount. He says he doesn't really play games any more but it'd be nice if he changed his mind that he could, but he mainly plays CoD 4 so that shouldn't really be a problem (my surface pro 2 can manage CoD 5 at 720p on HD4400). I'd also like to keep it around £200. Another feature that I think would be nice is if it could have two drives, one for SSD and a HDD for media (unless he chooses to use my server). So 2x SATA or M.2 and a SATA port would be preferable.

I've been looking at the Gigabyte Brix and Zotac's systems but I'm open to other suggestions.

Thanks for any help :)

EDIT: The £200 is just for the barebones system.

That's lowballing it. It's going to be difficult at that budget, you'd be better off buying used components to fit into a vesa mounted ITX system.

Intel Core i7-6700K | Corsair H105 | Asus Z170I PRO GAMING | G.Skill TridentZ Series 16GB | 950 PRO 512GB M.2

And I thought this generation of intel graphics was supposed to be a bump from HD4400. I wouldn't have thought that CoD 4 would require any more power than CoD 5 and if I can get an 'ok' experience from HD 4400, wouldn't HD 5500 be a bit better? I understand that integrated graphics is pretty pathetic compared to a discrete GPU but if he once in a blue moon decides to have a match I was thinking it would work. Other than that it's general computer use. ATM he has a Quad core phenom (not sure of model. 3.2 GHz) and an Nvidia 470.

Yes, but that's a kit, not a full built PC. You'll need to buy RAM and storage to run it. This could increase the price to 350 easily.

Ah I probably should have made myself clear at the beginning, I know it's the kit. The £200 is just for the kit. I have RAM and storage lying around that I can use.

DDR3L? If so, then go for it.
