Always loved computers finally working and found out i can make a kick ass one of my own... I am a college student so money is a thing, i cant spend 4 grand...

However i am spending around 1400$ knowing it will last me sometime and its just awesome...

Heres the question...

Looking to make a gaming rig and i came across a great deal on craigslist.

Processor: Intel i5 4690k
Mother Board: Gygabyte z97x-Ud3h-bk
Power supply: EVGA 850w gold
Fans: Corsair SP 120 LED (2 green, 2 purple)

ALL FOR 480$...

Now i know i can talk this person down.. but is this actually a good start to a rig?

I was comparing the Motherboard to a

MSI ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1150 Motherboards Z97-G45 GAMING

I don't know which is better...

And do i need an i5 or i7...

I play Counter strike, and a lot of war games, and RPG... i love skyrim and games as such...

I want to go and get an I7 cause i feel im cheating myself with the i5...

Im going to get an

MSI 970 Graphics card to throw in her as well.

So in the end.... will the i5 be just as good as the i7 in my case... or should i just get an i7... sorry for the novel just wanted to give the entire story.. if you help thank you if not have a nice day!!!

An i5 will be fine.  Which EVGA PSU.  Some suck and some don't.  Get an MSI 390 instead of the 970.

Depending on your location depends on if that Craigslist deal is good. If you're in the US, don't waste your breath, it isn't a good deal at all. You'd be better off starting from scratch.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.
