[Planning] Require: Basic Config for running Google Chrome

ajgamer1

Hello,

I require basic Cabinet with Config so that I can run Google Chrome over that. I'm mentioning my usage and other related information.

Usage

1. Facebooking (Normal Facebook, Facebook Games like Candy Crush)

2. Web Surfing (Very basic of few minutes)

3. Uploading of Images

Software (Which I wish to run)

1. Google Chrome

2. Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 (Don't include it's price in the setup's budget)

Additional Information: I don't need high end config or any gaming PC for it. I need the cheapest solution so that I can fulfill my needs. I don't want to do anything more than mentioned above.

Please only tell about: Cabinet and stuff inside it. (I don't want to buy Monitor, Keyboard, mouse and other stuff as I already have them).

Budget

As cheap as possible. But maximum is like 200 USD but may go for 250 USD also (Includes Every component of Cabinet and Cabinet itself).

Just hardware. Only and only hardware.

I've a 2 GB Ram Laptop which supports Windows 10. So I hope, 2 GB would be right but rest I will wait for you to make me the best cabinet.

I've some information to add.

1. 250 GB HDD is more than enough for me. 100 GB is like okay to me because I will keep all of my work in my WD (Portable HDD of 1TB)

2. Don't you think 4 GB is more for just to run Google Chrome?

3. Power Supply of 480W is high for this config.

4. I'm not sure about the processor and motherboard but if you have more cheaper suggestion give me that as well.

5. SSD is not required. (I don't need speed of boot because I will use the system for some hours a day, It's for business purpose only so I don't need high end PC).

P.S.: PC Part Picker is working for you? It says unavailable for me.

yeah pcpp is working for me, the parts that are listed are really as cheap/low as they come because windows requires 4gb to be installed, and 480W is legit the cheapest psu that is from a sorta reputable brand but here is another build that has a 80GB WD blue drive which is  a respectable brand

I would go for an AMD athlon 5350 and AM1 motherboard.

4 GB of RAM is quite good I would say, chrome uses a lot.

And also a nice cheap SSD would upgrade your experience quite a bit

Well, for a super low end budget build the only thing a PSU needs to do is provide some sort of power.  A system of this level will use 50 watts max. maybe so if you go with a 500 watt super shitty PSU you will not have any problems.

i used to work at a computer building/repair shop and those were our go to psu, in the almost 6 months i had been there i had only one dead on arrival

I mean still, I'd rather live without the rather likely risk of catching a Pentium and maybe a damn neighborhood on fire

yeah this is pretty much the desktop equivalent to that, with desktop hardware you really can't get anything lower spec and the monitor i use two of these monitors: http://www.amazon.com/Dell-P2314H-23-Inch-LED-Lit-Monitor/dp/B00EMB4KVS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1445976201&sr=8-1&keywords=dell+p2314h
