Planning to upgrade (need help)

Go to solution Solved by Ethaneous,

Can I use this instead of 4690k is this alright? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/nDmfbv

The big deference is that one is overclockable and one is not. I would suggest getting the overclockable one for future proofing

I am planning on upgrading my pc
specs:
Pentium g2010

gtx 750 non ti (yeah i know its a bit ocerkill for the cpu)

samsung 500gb hdd

help me on choosing the right motherboard ram and cpu
ps. dead motherboard and cpu and dead ram

should i go with Amd 860k or intel g3258 or i3 4460 or fx 6300?

I don't like your budget.

I'd get:

 * PSU (I am assuming that is what killed your old computer) $45

 * Ram - 8GB kit $40

 * Mobo - Some H81 LGA 1150 $60

 * CPU - Pentium G3258 $80

 * GPU - R9 270x $150

= $375
