Motherboard caught fire

So me and my friend have awful luck when it comes to buying PC stuff. Well the other day, he turned on his computer and the motherboard just caught into flames. So he has to get a new PSU and motherboard, but do you think there is anything else he should replace? I have no idea because my luck has never been THAT bad. 

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600 Motherboard: MSI B550 Tomahawk RAM: 32Gb DDR4  GPU(s): MSI 6800-XT Case: NZXT H440 Storage: 4x 250gb SSD + 2TB HDD PSU: Corsair RM850x with CableMod Displays: 1 x Asus ROG Swift And 3 x 24" 1080p Cooling: H100i Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB Mouse: Corsair M65 RGB Sound: AKG 553 Operating System: Windows 10

er, what part were they? if this is using the the AMD 9590 some boards will catch fire.

Aftermarket 980Ti >= Fury X >= Reference 980Ti > Fury > 980 > 390X > 390 >= 970 > 380X > 380 >= 960 > 950 >= 370 > 750Ti = 360

All specs? Erm not too sure. His PSU was EVGA 600 Bronze. CPU: AMD FX 8320 GPU: Zotac 750Ti Motherboard: Some Asus one.

ok then, might've just been bad luck (well the PSU's not the greatest), but it still seems odd. it's very rare for a motherboard to catch fire unless the CPU's trying to pull more power than the board's meant to provide.
