new cpu choise

i need a new mobo, and cpu for my gtx 970. i was thinking about i5 6500(or 6400 whats the difference between those?). only purpose is to get all the juice out of my gpu with reasonable budget. also 4460 could be an option, or 4690k, but since i need new mobo anyways is it a good idea to get this new skylake instead of older ones?

yep iv had it for like a year soon. is there something wrong with the card since u ask? i get about 60-85 fps on low graphics on bf4 1080p so something is wrong=cpu

You may want to get Skylake if you have the extra money to spend.

Bottleneck, get 4460 or 4590 for 1150, if you want 1151 get 6400 ( or 6600K if you have more money )

and 390 should be better at most games for the same price

it's about the CPU, not GPU. he already got the 970, so why still argue about the gpu? a 970 isn't bad at all.

for cpu i guess you should go for skylake i5 6500 or even a 6600(faster then 6400 and since it's not overclockable it makes sence).
