Virtual Memory is essentially an overflow for RAM (using your storage drive), so unless you're using double what your RAM capacity is, you don't need to increase it. Buying more RAM would be a much better option if you're actually using more than 8GB of RAM.

So,I took a look at my allocated Virtual Memory,and from what it looks like,the actual allocated V.M is lower than the recomended one.Should I change it to the advised value?I have 8 gigs OF 1866 mhZ ram.Thanks.

You don't even need that much, i have 8Gb of RAM too and i have set my VR to 2.5Gb.

With 16Gb of RAM you can disable the VR!
