is it for gaming if so only get 8gb of 1600mhz ram also get the evo ssd instead of the pro and I would say if you can wait just a little bit for 9000 series you could do that, about the peripherals I would get a different mouse and keyboard personally, what do you look for in the mouse and keyboard ?

a decent air cooler would also save you money something like the hyper 212 evo would get the job done just fine but if you want the h100 for looks then its a good choice

Buy a Ducky Shine 3, 8GB 1600MHz RAM, Samsung 840 EVO, Corsair AX760i if you intend to add another GPU, 120Hz IPS monitor/ 1440p monitor and spend the rest on games or something.

Edit: Buy another computer for running servers.

Any recommendations on a good gaming mouse and/or keyboard?

I'd drop the extra fans and the excessive PSu, upgrade the GPU to a 780, and for the love of god don't buy a Razer BW / Mamba, get a Logitech G400s and a Ducky / Filco / CM / Logitech mech keyboard. ^^

Frost upon these cigarettes.... lipstick on the window pane...

Which keyboard would you directly recommend, like the make and model

Is your budget 2100 USD? If it is, then I would change quite a few things in that build.

Here is what I would get with a 2100 dollar budget:

Case

The Phantom is good but I prefer the Corsair 400r (70 USD).

Not only is it cheaper, but I personally think it looks better. The Phanom isn't bad though and if you think the looks is worth the extra cost then go for it.

CPU Cooler

I would get the Noctua D14 (75 USD) instead.

Much more quiet, cools only slightly worse and a bit cheaper.

Motherboard

I am trying to figure out why the MSI Z87-GD65 costs almost 200 dollars when the Asus Z87-PLUS is only 145 USD.

They are pretty much the same but the Asus one is much cheaper. Get the Asus one.

RAM

If you buy this Corsair kit for 105 USD instead, you save ~25 dollars and get exactly the same performance.

The heatspreaders are also smaller which is a plus (especially if you're going to follow my advice and get the D14).

SSD

With my adjustments you can actually afford the Samsung 840 EVO 250GB (185 USD). Performance should be roughly the same or better, and you get twice as much space.

Power Supply

For this build, 650 watts is more than enough. This Corsair TX650v2 (65 USD) fits the build very well.

Operating System

Just reuse the license for the OS you are currently using, or "borrow" one from the Internet.

Monitor

I would get the Dell U2312HM (205USD) instead. With my adjustments you can even get two and still be within your budget.

It's not only cheaper, but also IPS. That's worth the 60Hz (instead of 144Hz) if you ask me.

Keyboard

You do know that's keyboard has Cherry MX Blue switches, right? They are very special and not everyone likes them. If you do want cherry MX blue switches, then I recommend you get the basic model of the Razer Blackwindow (92 USD) instead. Backlight on the keys are not worth 30 dollars if you ask me.

Mouse

Personally I dislike wireless mice. The batteries dies when you least expect them to, they got higher input lag, they are more expensive and so on.

The wired Razer Naga 2014 costs 82 USD. If you think wireless is worth ~20 dollars then go for it I guess. I personally would stick with wired though.

CPU, HDD, GPU and Optical drive

Good, no need to change.

My build (link here) is not only slightly cheaper, but you get two IPS monitors and a much bigger SSD, and you will get the same performance as the other build.

Higher end GPU.

Get a third monitor (I quiet rarely use my third one, and gaming on 3 feels really weird).

Save the money for future upgrades.

A nice pair of headphones and a DAC/AMP combo (like Audio Technical M50 and a FiiO E10)

Upgrade to the i7-4770K

In no particular order.

I have the G710+ and it's wonderful.

My recommendations: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1tAZ4

Went for a red/orange theme. Sli ready.

You could get a cheaper psu if you'd like: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/ocz-power-supply-ocz750fty
