Audio Problem

Hey guys,

 

I do not get any sounds from my audio jacks on my motherboard. Microphones do not work either. All the devices show up in windows but I can not get them to make a single sound.

I tried different headphones and one microphone. I updated my drivers with driver booster 3. So far no luck.

What else can I try? My motherboard is the P8B75-V from Asus.

You may have to set up your plugged in devices as default in the windows sound settings.

Easiest way to do this is right click on your volume thingy in the system tray and click on "playback devices" find whatever it is you plugged in and right click -> set as default device.

I did set them up as default but still nothing to hear.
