I want a beast pc gtx 970 i7 and ssd for 1000 pounds

What will you be doing with this machine?

If you're gaming, it'd make a lot more sense to go with a Core i5 and a 980Ti...if it fits in the budget.

You can probably go with a cheaper motherboard. This is pretty nice while somewhat overbudget.

Add the i7 if you want.  You will need some extra fans with the case.  Two 140mm for the front (intake) should be enough to get going.

It's a fantastic lineup of parts, all good quality in all the right places and while you dont need that much performance at the moment, you'll kick yourself later if you downgrade.

Also, mate, that was pretty rude, and putting quotation marks around the word when 'apologising' just made it much worse. The people on here aren't paid to deal with it and have the right to not help you and to have respect, if you don't like that, i'm quite sure your closest pc shop will be happy to help you out with any future problems or questions.

:)

So you bought a pre-built.

What did you pay?  The power supply is low-end.  It is not worth more than $1100 USD.
