Hello,

my browser has started redirecting me to random ad and scam websites. When I click some link it redirects me to other websites. Sometimes it's not even link, I just click somewhere in my browser and it instantly opens new page. I don't have any extensions installed. I managed to take a screenshot of the link before it redirects:

I have scanned my computer with lots of malware removers etc. Even my ESET NOD32 can't find anything.

What should I do? I'm not really up for a format, as I just recently formated my computer.

  • 3 months later...

As the page mentions that malicious programs cause browser redirect issues by changing browser settings and some of system files.

So you can fix the redirect and reset browser homepage via Registry Editor.

Find out the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Start Page and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Start Page and make alteration. After then, you need to restart the PC and reset the DNS.

I fixed problem with esurfboz redirect this method. Perhaps you can have a try.
