details in sig, ssd has 2gb free space left, the rest are 80%~ full

What would you do? another vertex 3? but raid 0 = no trim..
Maybe a separate ssd for programs/games, what do you recommend?

You really don't need as much stuff on your SSD as you think.

Move games off your SSD,

turn off hibernate,

delete system restores,

lower pagefile,

check your "my documents" folder and move files that you don't need there,

uninstall unneeded programs

delete porn

delete porn

use a program liek ccleaner and clean your drive

from what i've been told, it's very bad on an SSD to have it full. So stop that!

Well my first question is WHY is your SSD 98% full? Can you give us a bit of a breakdown as to what is on it?

If you ACTUALLY need all of that data on an SSD, then this is what I would suggest:

Buy a bigger SSD (Samsung 840 Evo 250GB for example)

AND

Buy a bigger HDD (3TB are quite cheap now)

And then sell both your existing HDDs and the SSD.

Well that's only partially correct. It won't kill your SSD faster by having it full, except in the sense that you simply use it more. It will however, significantly impact the SPEED and PERFORMANCE of the SSD.

Did you move your TEMP file folder to your HDD? You could follow this guide to free up some room: http://www.overclock.net/t/1156654/

I would personally get a Seagate Barracuda 1tb and move most of your programs to the HDD in order to free up space.

never but never read and write (think of the lifecycle of it it can read and write 2/8 of a hdd) to mutch on a ssd! if you dowload games, download them in a hhd instead of ssd! Only use you're ssd for programs and os. never install games store pictures or music and movies on ssd. a hdd is fast enough for that. by filling you're ssd will go slower.

bf3, crysis3,  planetside 2 = 65gig

windows 8 = 20gig

other programs n crap = 10gig

total = 95gig now since i deleted old windows + office installation files

those 'previous installation files' were the biggest waste of space!

Ok well that gives us a breakdown.

So the question you must ask is: Do you need or really want those games on the SSD? They are obviously taking up the majority of the space. Planetside 2 would definitely benefit a little from being on the SSD, and Battlefield 3 multiplayer a little bit also, but in reality the performance difference in-game would be fairly small with any of them.

If you're set on keeping them on your SSD, then you simply need to get a larger SSD. I do NOT recommend RAID 0-ing any of your SSDs. Buy a bigger one and sell your current one.

Same thing with your HDD's, buy a single larger one (I'd recommend 3TB with current HDD prices. 4TB if you find a particularly sweet sale), then sell your old ones.

Or keep your old ones around for spare drives, but either way, replace them in the system with larger ones.
