So I've been working out how I'm going to upgrade my Pc and have many options to choose from. I've Narrowed it down to a couple of things, and I need you opinion on what I should get first/last and what I should actually get.

Im Going to get a Gigabyte Windforce G1 970 and then Get another to eventually Make a SLI Set up.

(Side Note): Once Im happy with my PC+Spec, Im going to work on wall mounting it with a custom loop etc...

Option 1

Intel Core I7 6700 (Skylake) + Asus Deluxe z170 + 16GB HyperX 2666Mhz

Option 2

Intel Core I7 4790K + MoBo (Recommend) + 16GB HyperX 2666Mhz

Option 3

Intel Core I5 (Something) + (Recommend) + 16GB HyperX 2666Mhz

Option 4

Your Opinion :D

Thanks for any Suggestions

you cant use the 4790k on the x99 platfrom, you need a motherboard that has the 1150 socket and preferably z97 chipset. And there is no i5 for x99

This also.

I would suggest getting the R9 390 over the GTX 970, it performs generally better for a similar price. But up to you :)

Heads up: option 2 doesn't work as a 4790K and X99 board are not compatible, you'll need a Z97 board for that particular chip. Same goes for option 3.

Do you plan to video edit or render, or perhaps 3D model? If so, get the 4790K or 6700K. If not, get an i5 and use the money you saved elsewhere in the build.

Get one now, and later on decide whether you want to upgrade to a new card or add another one to crossfire them.

You do 3D modelling? If so, you might want the 4790K/6700K. I'd pick the 4790K because it's a bit cheaper.

Alternatively, have a look at the Intel Xeon 1231v3. It's basically the same as the i7 except you can't overclock it and it's much cheaper.

Sapphire and MSI are generally great for AMD cards. I personally have the MSI R9 390 and I love it.
