Ordering my new PSU

Hey all,

 

So I'm upgrading my PSU and this is my current choice: http://www.ncix.com/detail/evga-supernova-750-g2-80-f0-94405-1277.htm

 

It's a good price, meets my power requirements, black cables, modular, reviews look good, 80+ gold.

 

Thoughts on this one?

 

If you have another suggestion it has to come from NCIX or memoryexpress since I live in Alberta, Canada and need it quick. Selling my old PSU so I'm out a computer until it comes in.

It's a great psu, the only question is why are you upgrading your PSU? Do you want to have room for SLI/other? In which case, I would be upgrading your GPU before the PSU regardless of why you want to upgrade the PSU since the 600B is still a fine psu.

...and our school internet says that ncix.com is spam.

Have you seen their site? Your school isn't wrong.... 

 

NCIX's site is a mess and looks like it belongs back in 2006.

It's more to prepare for my upcoming GPU upgrade, since I will likely wait for pascal there's no rush to save my pennies for the GPU so I might as well get the PSU upgraded first. It's also for aesthetics and ease of building since the 600B isn't modular. It's also a better and more reliable PSU - I don't want my new Pascal GPU to blow up. Also, I might as well make some money from my 600B while it's still worth the cash.
