You can try setting the affinity to make it only use two cores.

im running windows 10 and cant get fallout 3 to run i have a quad core and i think itll only use two cores how do i get game to work

It should be in the BIOS

? What do you mean ? Have you tried running compatibility mode?

What happens when you launch Fallout 3? I've never played it so I don't know if you get a menu before entering the actual game(something like Skyrim).

You shouldn't need to disable cores .

But anyway you can do that in the bios.
