Should i run Linux (Ubuntu) on a Virtual Machine in windows 10 or windows 10 on a Virtual Machine in Linux. Also can you get viruses from a virtual machine from virtual Box? Thanks

no you can't get a virus...unless you manually transfer files outta the vm to the host os

Do you intend on playing games that only run on Windows?  If yes, then Ubuntu VM on W10.  If no, then Ubuntu with W10 in a VM.  There are definitely ways viruses can come out from a VM, but very unlikely.

 

Ultimately you should ditch Windows and go with a free OS.
