Video Rendering

So I recently upgraded from a Radeon HD 6870 to a R9 280X. Now I used my 6870 for video editing and gaming. The issue I am having with my R9 280X is video editing. When I would render videos with my 6870 in Sony Vegas it would use the cards GPU to render the video making for a very quick experience. Now with the R9 280X installed with the latest drivers I can not seem to get Sony Vegas to render my projects with the card. (Yes I choose the option for render with gpu/opencl if available is selected). I was wondering if any of you know a fix to get my videos to render quickly wit my 280X. 

 

Also I tried adobe premier and using gpusniffer.exe and it was unable to find a compatible gpu unit.
