Thermal Compound ?

Go to solution Solved by Oshino Shinobu,

Just use the stock stuff. The difference between different TIM is only a few degrees at best, and the stuff EK includes is actually pretty good.

The standard ones what come with EK will be better anyway but it's down to personal preference and opinion of what you've found to work best.

EDIT:- IC Diamond is perfectly fine to use, there was a bad batch previously before but I've had a few tubes and used them on different CPU/CPU Coolers and never had any issues with scratching.

Should I get extra thermal compound like the IC Diamond or use the stock ones that comes with EK waterblocks ?

The stock one that comes with the EK waterblocks is good enough.

At best you would see a difference of 1-2 °C. That's really not worth the money.
