I bought a computer from a company and the front fan doesn't seem to be turning on. It's connected to the fan controller. Anyone know what the issue could be?

go back with your pc. if they fail to properly plug in a fan i fear for what else may be wrong...

First plug the fan into the motherboard headers, no one can say the fan is dead without ruling out the fan controller. If it is already plugged directly into the motherboard, try a different fan header.

Finding the cause requires you to rule out all the possible points of failure.
