PC over Ethernet

Hi all,

I'm wondering if this device exists:

I'm trying to move my PC away from my workdesk and I want to use Ethernet as the cable between the monitor Keyboard etc and the computer.

I want to use Ethernet as at my office it cables all around and I have control over both connection ends. I'm planning to have the Pc's in a single 'server room' with all the networking gear then just run the monitor, mouse, keyboard and a few USB's at each desk.

I know this could be easily done with USB but i don't really want to be running USB around the office.

Im just looking to see if this is possible and is relatively simple??

i dunno about ethernet but thunderbolt will do this for sure.

theres two main issues here:

 

- latency

- bandwidth

 

if its just for office work, and if a gigabit link is available, teamviewer w/ a thin client (nuc?) will do just fine. (do note you'll need a license if its in a professional enviroment)

You'll need thunderbolt bud, enet is not capable of these things from my knowledge.
