I'm building a budget gaming PC and have found some midtowers. Here's a list of cases I'm thinking of buying:

Corsair Carbide 100R
499 Kr / 62 Dollar

Cooler Master Elite 310
349 Kr / 44 Dollar

MS-Tech MINI CA-0140 430W
383 Kr / 48 Dollar
PSU Included 430W

MS-Tech CA-0210
360 Kr / 45 Dollar

NZXT Source SE 210H
395 Kr / 49 Dollar

Cooler Master CM Force 500
486 Kr / 61 Dollar

Cooler Master Case Elite 311
436 Kr / 55 Dollar

Note, MS-Tech MINI CA-0140 430W comes with a 430W PSU. Will this have enough power?
The CPU I have gone for is: AMD Athlon X4 860K 3,7GHz.
I will overclock it sometime when I can afford a CPU cooler.

I have not yet decided what GPU I'm going for. But it will be a budget one.

Could you post your budget and what you will be doing with the build, and what specs you've chosen so far?

And no, I don't think that the power supply that comes with that case will be any good. If I were forced to choose from the above I would go for the 100R.

Sig under construction.

The Source 210 is a great case for the price, but if you're able to spend more, do it.

You could go a little bit higher and try to get an NZXT S340, which are just a little bit more expensive than the CM Force 500 and Carbide 100R, but it doesn't have an external/optical drive bay.

Out of the ones you listed, I would agree with Tedster. Get the 100R.

Pretty much personal preference, but I would go for the 100R. And NEVER buy a case/PSU combo.

Unless you are doing it for scrapyard wars!!! lol but yeah I wouldn't ever trust a case/PSU combo unless it's a separate thing like you can find on Newegg where it sells a decent PSU with the case.

CPU: i7-8700K I CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 GPU: ROG Strix 1080 Ti MoBo: ROG Strix Z370-E RAM:  G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB)   PSU: CORSAIR HXi Series HX1000i Case: Corsair Air 540 Display: 24" 1920X1080p 144Hz ASUS - 27" 2560X1440p 144Hz Dell OS: Windows 10 Home 64bit

I'm trying to build a 400 dollar gaming PC to replace my console.

Currently what I have selected:

CPU: AMD Athlon X4 860K 3,7GHz (92 Dollars)

GPU: Not decided but will probably go for a used ''XFX AMD Radeon 7950'' (100 Dollars)

RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz CL9 2x4GB (56 Dollars)

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H R3.0 (80 Dollar)

Case: MS-Tech MINI CA-0140 430W (38 Dollars)

PSU: Included in Case

Total: 366 Dollars.

I see I have some spare money to spend. Maybe I could buy a PSU or a better mouse and keyboard since you do get a controller when buying a console. It should be a console replacment. I have always owned a gaming laptop because I didn't have any room for a desktop, so I don't have a keyboard or a good mouse.

I did check the calculator for how many wattage I needed, and it was only around 350W so I think this PSU that comes with the case will work fine.

Sorry for the confusion over the parts. Couldn't get it to fix it right since I had it in Excel

Edit:

Fixed the parts

Something like that. I'm trying to build a 400 dollar gaming PC, and prices in Norway are way higher than prices in the US : /

If the case isn't listed, it was probably to expensive. I really can't stretch more when it comes to the cases. I'm already struggling to afford a GPU now.

I think I will buy a used ''XFX AMD Radeon 7950'' for 100 dollars.

Why not go for a case/PSU combo? I think those days are gone. It will do fine in a 400 dollar gaming PC. It would be weird if it didn't.

i can agree that you should never do that if your PC is full of specs, but this is just a 400 dollar budget gaming PC.
