RAM Problems

Hi guys,

I have a problem with my motherboard and the ram it recognizes.

It's a a88xm-plus with a a6-6400k(non oc). The RAM is either a 4GB Kingston HyperX Fury 1866 or/with 2x Nanya 4GB 1333Mhz

The board works only with ram in slots A2 and/or B2 (otherwise no video signal), in A1/B1 it recognizes the ram but it's not available.

and there are 8GBs max. I've tried all variations of slots and ram combinations, bios update and reset, but nothing helps.

The ram is from my brothers pc and works fine and is tested.

Is my mainboard broken or are there other reasons why it's not working?

I think you might need to RMA the board...
