Hey Guys. So im thinking about getting these items for my new pc. The computer will only be used for gaming, which currently is Diablo 3 and WoW. I have a laptop for everything else, so it it just those 2 games + like skype, teamspeak and like spotify/itunes that will be on the computer so won't be needing much space. It is also the reason why I havent included a HDD. I have an old PC Case i can re-use, so wont need to buy one of those either. Prices, unfortunately, are quite a bit higher than on Newegg. This build as it is in the link will be around $1100 which sucks, it was a $1000 build i found on youtube with a HDD and Case which i now excluded :P

THe build is:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/6GJXcf

What do you think? I really am on a budget and would hate to stretch the build more than it is already being. Would i be able to get a cheaper MOBO with same features, having a hard time chosing MOBO. The GPU probably wont be exactly that one, might be another brand depending on price :b

Feedback please, thanks!!

Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:

Solitaire.

Tbh to be playing Wow and diablo you wont need a monster pc to run at decent settings.

Would change that powersupply to a 550w from either EVGA's G2 or GS line or something from Seasonic or XFX in same price range.

750w is overklii and the NEX series is not that good. Can be compared to the Corsair CX line (but NEX is slightly better), which is bad.

You could get away with this since you mentioned you wont need a lot of HDD space

You could also down the road buy a 1TB HDD if you needed it.

You could cheap out of the mobo a bit more if you like, but for the SSD i would recommend one since it's a lot easier to just keep your OS on the SSD instead of trying to swap it to an SSD from a Mechanical drive.

Reason for the GPU you could also cheap out and go a much cheaper GPU but if you get the 4GB model you're future proofing yourself for a bit.

Intel

I think that's a decent build for the money you could also go AMD for a much cheaper route since you're not playing overly demanding games.

AMD

I also included an OS with the AMD setup

Remember the most expensive portion of your build should be the GPU.. but playing WOW and Diablo you could easily buy a R9 270x and be perfectly fine.

Get the R9 390 it has 8 Gbs of VRAM which more games will start using and it's basically the same price.

If you're using a prebuild case that's a potential really bad idea because your Mobo may not fit.

Change PSU to Corsair RM 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

And you could also get an OS and still be under budget

I don't see the need to change to an RM PSU, EVGA GS is better.

And he can get OS from G2A.com, which is so cheap.

He still needs the download files which they don't provide

He may not be comfortable with downloading them from somewherte else

Is a CPU cooler really necesary? Like  Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ?????

If you ever plan on overclocking yes it would be useful, it can always be added later if you decide you want to overclock.

Thank you guys so much,

Why would you want to do that ? The EVGA GS is a better power supply.

I think im gna keep the EVGA aswell, from what i can see basically everywhere, the EVGA is better than the Corsair even though they score Bronze both of them. Maybe I'll be downgrading 750w to a 500/600/650w if i can find a good price :P
