So would it be better to have one 7970 or two 670's?

Just make sure you don't get caught up in it........CROSSFIRE!!!

This immediately came to mind. It is a good feeling to know there is someone equally awesome out there.

2 670s would perform better but it's not a good comparison since that would be way more expensive.
