I think you already made a post about this

Join the Appleitionist cause! See spoiler below for answers to common questions that shouldn't be common!

Spoiler

Q: Do I have a virus?!
A: If you didn't click a sketchy email, haven't left your computer physically open to attack, haven't downloaded anything sketchy/free, know that your software hasn't been exploited in a new hack, then the answer is: probably not.

Q: What email/VPN should I use?
A: Proton mail and VPN are the best for email and VPNs respectively. (They're free in a good way)

Q: How can I stay anonymous on the (deep/dark) webzz???....

A: By learning how to de-anonymize everyone else; if you can do that, then you know what to do for yourself.

Q: What Linux distro is best for x y z?

A: Lubuntu for things with little processing power, Ubuntu for normal PCs, and if you need to do anything else then it's best if you do the research yourself.

Q: Why is my Linux giving me x y z error?

A: Have you not googled it? Are you sure StackOverflow doesn't have an answer? Does the error tell you what's wrong? If the answer is no to all of those, message me.

snip

  1. your motherboard is absolute overkill and should be changed to an msi x99a sli
  2. if you're video editing etc, i would get a 2tb hdd at the minimum. seagate offers hybrid 2tb drives, which are nice
  3. asus has a great rma process so if your video cards get fucked up, you won't have to pay for shipping back
  4. i would get an evga g2 or gs psu, xfx, seasonic, or antec instead. i would get a bit more than 1000w... maybe 1050w
  5. why are you planning on playing 1080p? get an rog swift for 1440p!!!

The power supply is overkill unless you aim at going dual 980tis in the future.

Makes more sense, but OP should update the post to include it.

The only monitors at 1ms and 120+ hertz that i would buy at 1440p would be the following:

BenQ XL2730Z (Does NOT have GSYNC)

Asus ROG SWIFT PG278Q (Has GSYNC)

Do NOT get the Acer XG270HU monitor. The stand is not secure and the monitor will move around while you type. It also does NOT have a vesa mounting system on the back for an aftermarket stand
