Hi everyone,

I'm having some trouble overclocking my 6700K. More like setting the voltages I want.

The thing is that I simply do not understand how the vcore and svid work in this platform. Like, if i leave everything at auto, the vcore will go up to 1.408v or 1.378 under load (aida64, cinebench, real bench and even just in windows) or sometimes it will be at like 1.280 at iddle and go down to 1.200v at full load and ive me the exact same performance results. So, to test some thoughts, i went and set the vcore to manual mode at 1.300v. at iddle, the vcore is correct, but if i put a load on it will go back down to 1.200v. so i started playing with load line calibration and managed to change te vcore under load and proceeded to overclocking (got up to 4.6GHz at 1.348v). after that i proceed to changing the vcore to adaptive mode and set everything else back to stock. i set it at 1.250v and it was stabble and everything but the vcore was going up to 1.408v again. i tried with svid disabled but no matter what i set the vcore to, i can't get windows to load.

i've been on this for the past 2 days and i can't come to any conclusions on what is causing this. i hope someone knows what's happening because i want my beloved overclock running 24/7... :/
