Centurylink caps.

Well, our comcast bill just went up another $6, thats raising the "normal" price. 

 

Looking into centurylink, as they now have 100Mbps and 1Gbps fiber connections to my house. 

 

 

 

 

Who has them, and what ahs your experience been? How are they with their data caps?

Had them for years, ditched them this year, they are bullshit . The caps are fine though, pretty much nonexistent, but customer service is a complete joke, and it wouldn't be an issue if they had reliable service, which they don't. CenturyLink plays a dirty game, they lock you into a 3+ year contract and give you great service for 6-8 months, then after that you get lower network priority(which they use the "up to" argument) and if anything goes wrong they will waste your time fixing nothing.

 

I know Comcast is basically satan, but at least they aren't falling apart like Centurylag(they were much better as Qwest).

Gosh, I wish my city had fiber connections. I would jump on that asap.
