1 SSD I would say for less chance of data loss

There's not like a definite percentage, it's just if you set up Raid on two drives you'll lose data that's stored on both drives. It'd be better to just get one drive as SSD's are fast enough as it is, especially the Samsung ones.

I am in the minority. I like more ssd's over fewer larger ones. Lessens the chance of one of them dying and taking all my data with it.
