780Ti vs 970?

My G1 gaming 970 is really too long for the m-itx form which I want to swap to.

 

After using my new jobs pc's (and wanting to kill myself due to just how bad they were) I wanted to make my rig even smaller.

 

My sisters tower has a 780Ti reference so I thought id ask her to swap and compensate with some $$$.

off the top of my head 780ti and 970 are pretty similar performance.

Are you asking which is better or how much you should give her? 780ti beats the 970 and comes close to the 980. In terms of cash, it should be a pretty even trade. Maybe throw like 50 bucks her way.

losing some vram by swapping but overclocked 970 can keep up with 780ti.

Yeah $50 was around the amount I had in mind.

Ugh I just looked... She has a Gigabyte 780Ti and not a reference one. Probs too long now too, Might just give up on my dreams of smaller form.
