hdmi 1.4 can do 1080p 120fps

So I have acer Aspire E5-571G which intel I3 - 45005U and NVIDIA GEFORCE 840M 2GB DDR3 and it has two ports VGA and HDMI. And i wanted to hook up monitor to it which is 120Hz 1080p. So i wondered can my hdmi port run at that. But i can't find out which version it is ?

How do you know what my laptop has hdmi 1.4 output ?

because laptops dont have 2.0 and unless your laptop is like 5+ years old the HDMI version will be 1.4

its the most widely used on almost every device
