about 75% of the time when i launch a game such as csgo, i will get the error thread_stuck_in_device_driver. This has become a daily occurrence and i want to fix it. i already made a post on this, the "solution" didnt work.

i think its my graphics card. i have a sapphire radeon r7 260x

Have you tried clean reinstalling the driver? like uninstalling them with a driver cleaner, before installing the newest version

I haven't used any myself as the nvidia driver installer has an option to clean install, but a quick google search should yield some results.

 

My friend had a similar issue after testing an nvidia card in his system, when the drivers didn't play nice with the default amd drivers.
