Okay, so i have a noob question here. if i increase my power limit on my graphics card (it's a gtx 970 Strix if that is needed information) will it harm the graphics card?

Im a noob at these kind of things so i don't really know, 

Also, by power limit i mean the POWER LIMIT not the core voltage, just so that im being clear. 

 

 

i would love to get an answer since i could'nt find it anywhere else.

You are not changing the voltage if that is what you are worried about. You are just saying here use all the power you need and GPU boost does the rest. if you want to bump up the clocks you can
