Hackintosh Compatibility Help!

Go to solution Solved by The Official Czex,

Hey guys,

I have been trying for two years now to try and get Yosemite on my older PC. It has not amazing specs, but it can run win 10 fine.

Here are the specs

CPU: Intel Core 2 quad

Motherboard: Asus P5Q

Graphics: Zotac GT630

Ram: Unknown Brand (8gb)

I wont list PSU and case...but if you need to know any other specs... let me know.

I have been trying for two years like i said, and i didnt really touch it this summer again, but i have been able to get it to mavericks, but when i try to use the Yosemite update tool for Niresh, it doesn't work at all. And when i try installing Yosemite, it never works. Is there something wrong with my hardware? Cause as far as i know, nothing there seems to sound like a problem.... If you need any more info guys, Just let me know.

I don't think the Core 2 Quad or your MOBO are compatible.

This would make a lot of sense. There's no particular reason that a Hackintosh patch should support such ancient hardware as that.

That's what I though. The Core 2 series lost OS X support after Mountain Lion.
