So Im looking into getting a Dell U2715h for my next setup. Anyone have thoughts or personal experience with the monitor? Would this be fine for gaming? I didn't really mind the 6ms response time but if there's a better 27in 1440p monitor out there, please list it. Thanks much.

I have 2 of these and am pretty happy with them. I use 1 for gaming and I haven't once thought 6ms wasn't fast enough - but I am predominantly playing GW2 right now, so not screaming at n00b h4x0rs in CS:GO etc.

The only issue I've had with the screens was that when playing games the 2nd screen (just rendering the desktop and some chat windows/webpages etc) would power cycle on and off every few seconds and only a reboot would stop it. I switched out cables (DP and mDP) as well as the port it was plugged into on my GPU and the only thing that permanently fixed it was physically swapping the monitors and setting the "flashing" screen as my left primary which I now game on. It hasn't reoccurred since then.

And honestly, for the money I don't think you'll find much out there that will better 1440p, IPS, 6ms and an ultra thin bezel.

Very true. I was actually looking into the Asus MX27AQ (found here). But the stand was so limited in what I was able to adjust, I decided against it. Love the stand that comes with the U2715h. How is the height adjustment for it? Is it stable after adjustment? Someone once told me that the stock stand that the monitor came with had a horrible height adjustment. I haven't heard that complaint from anybody else though.

I have the 25" inch version (2515h), and I'm very pleased with it, especially for the price. I did have a dead pixel with the 1st one, but dell support sent me a new one right away...

Input lag is indistinguishable from my previous 1ms 144hz benq monitor, and the colors look great. The anti glare coating also strikes a balance between gloss, and matter where the colors don't get mudded out, but it isn't prone to reflection either.

The thin bezel also makes it look very nice from the front. In general it is a very professional looking monitor, that dosent go overboard with colors, so that it can match any color scheme.

How's the PPI on the U2515H? Is it good enough to disable MSAA?

I generally don't run anything more than fxaa, so I'm not sure, but the pixel density is quite nice in windows. I thought things would be too small, as people kept saying that 1080p 24" and 1440p 27" was the sweet spot, but I much rather prefer 1440p 25".

Not a clue, sorry. I only touched the stands as I had to take them out of the box to remove the monitors. They both went straight on to VESA mounts.
