Tbh the G502 is the best you can get for the least amount of money.

Anything that costs less than it probably wont be very good at all.

What about the G402? Thats only 50$ and is still pretty good. I haven't heard bad things about it yet. I don't own one though so I don't really know. (I own a G502)

G502 is very good, however less does not mean worse. Just as one example, SteelSeries Rival is $20 cheaper and every bit as good as the 502 including it's sensor. Plenty of mice available with sensors as good as the 502.
