So last night I was playing Ark like I usually do. When I was walking a spino nothing to demanding on the components I hear a loud pop! It startles me and I look around. The game doesnt stutter at all so I quickly go back to base and logout and then shut down this morning. Nothing smelled like burning or was smoking when it happened. This morning when I opened the case everything looked alright to me and the PSU was looking ok aswell. So is that loud pop connected to my pc or no? If it is what might have caused it?

If it is a failed or failing capacitor, it might not show signs right away of what's to come.  Long story short, I've seen a machine that had failing caps on the motherboard continue working for some time as if it was fine.  Just something to consider.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
