need help in choosing good psu (80+ gold)

mobo - asus z170 deluxe

case - CM mastercase pro 5

total wattage - around 500 watts

all specs please

And 80+gold does not give much of an advantage other then effciency.

You want a 600W unit - 500W is pushing it very hard.

Get a good one from tier 1

An EVGA 650W GS or G2 would be good for you.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

I haven't built my rig yet, but I purchased the Rosewill Photon 750w (gold) for $80, but if you want around 500w they have a 550w Photon (gold) for $69.99 on Newegg. Both fully modular.

Antech HCG 620m is only 60$ - Rosewill are not really an optimal choice
