So, I recently bought a Corsair H60 and it comes with what looks like one of there SP style fans. I have the pump connected to the CPU fan header so I can set that to run at full all the time and then I have my front 200mm fan and the 120mm fan on the radio being powered from a splitter from the chassis fan header on the motherboard. I've never had a problem with any of my other fans not getting enough power for the initial spin up except this one 120mm fan. Even if I set that header to max fan speed all the time, occasionally that fan still wont spin up and I have to stick a little wire or something through the fan grills at the back of my case to push the fan blades a little to get it going. It never has a problem staying on, it just sometimes doesn't start up. Is there something wrong with this fan?

Not sure what might be the problem, but if you want toe pump to run at 100% all the time than just plugging it into a 3-pin header is sufficient, then you could try the CPU header for the included fan for the H60.聽

Though it might just be the fan, not sure what would cause it to not be able to start to spin.聽

Edit:

To me it sounds like there's something physically preventing the fan to spin without having to manually do it, so check to see if the fan has clearance with the housing, or if there's something inside.聽

Maybe I worded it awkwardly in my original post, my pump is connected to the CPU fan header so it is running 100% all the time which is what I want so no problems there. I thought I may have been torquing the fan a bit so I loosened the screws up but it was still the same results. I'm fairly sure there is nothing blocking it since it doesn't make any excess noise while running and once I give it a little push it runs at full speed like you would expect.

Then I really don't know, you might just want to get in contact with Corsair and get an RMA like what @ShaolinBear suggested.聽
