Hi, am trying to build a quiet gaming pc, that's also somewhat high-end and low on power consumption.

I would like to know if this is a good build and if everything would go good together

 perfectly.

I am not use which CPU Cooler to go with(air) or Optical Drive.

Thanks.

Um... I would definitely go with a i7-4770k and not the 3770. I know it's more expensive, but there is quite a difference between them.

Then I would go for the msi gamers mobo, I've installed 2 of them already, it is just great lol.

The rest is fine, although for that price you would want to show off your pc with a nice CPU heat sink etc etc...

If the PC is strictly for gaming and office applications, you have more than enough ram, you can go down to 8Gb and save some bucks that way. If you are going to do video editing, you can keep the 16Gb.

Heat sinks I would either go for some noctua if you want silence and efficiency or zalman or get any other tower heat sink and change the fans for some corsair sp 120 fans.

The cd drive is not compulsory, but you decide if you need blueray or you have enough with a DVD one. Just get a known brand and don't worry, they are not rocket science.

Planning on trying StarCitizen (Highly recommended)? STAR-NR5P-CJFR is my referal link

The i5 will do just as well as the i7 for gaming.

16GB is overkill. 8GB is plenty for gaming.

No need for a caviar black when you already have an ssd. A blue or barracuda will do.

Unless you're gaming at 1440p or gaming across multiple displays, the 780 is overkill. A single 770/7970 already maxes out almost everything at 1080p.

Crossfire ready.

You should be waiting till the 9000 series hits the shelves and prices drop first anyway.
