I heard it's pretty bad. Question is, will a H440 dust filter fit on it(I heard that one is pretty gopd) and vice versa?

The S340 PSU filter is absolutely fine and collects dust well.  Despite the recent review of the S340 Razer Edition, it's actually really easy to remove and place back the filter.

How often should I take it out and clean it? If it helps I have an XFX XTR 750W.

as soon as it clogs up and performance is lowered

Considering my house, I'd say every 4 months. So is it just a slide out filter? I assume I could shake it outside and pull out particularly big pieces with my fingers.

Once a month?  Depends how dusty your room is.

I've got both cases. The filters are not interchangeable. They're very different.

The s340 filter fits under metal tabs on all of its sides. It doesn't slide out. You'll pretty much have to turn the case on its side to remove/replace it.
