Occasional Slow Boot

After upgrading to Windows 10, I noticed that around 80% of the time when I boot my PC it spends around 30-40 seconds on a black screen where I can move my cursor around. This doesn't happen every boot, and when it doesn't it loads quickly into Windows. 

 

Are there anything I could do to try and fix this? 

 

Relevant specs:

Motherboard: Asus Z87-A ATX LGA1150 

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor 

Video Card: Asus Radeon R9 270X 2GB x2 (Crossfire)

Re-installing Windows 10 is your best bet probably. Might be a SSD or HDD problem.

Task Manager > Start-up > Disable the apps that you dont need

how big are your storage drives?

 

there's a known issue back in windows 8 for really slow boot times for systems with a single drive more than 1tb in size. Maybe this problem wasn't completely fixed in w10 too.

I know exactly what the problem is no bs.

However I'm at work so have limited time.

Simple google disable ulps. It's a simple reg edit.

Windows 10 doesn't like amd crossfire and there power saving bs.
