Sprint Nexus 5X Question

Hi

 

I want to get the Nexus 5X, but I've been hearing it's not coming to carrier stores.

 

If I get off my two year upgrade plan on sprint and buy the Nexus 5X unlocked, will that save me money on my phone bill?

Last time I checked, Sprint is a CDMA carrier and if I am reading the question correctly, you won't be able to get the phone onto Sprint because the phone was designed for GSM networks. 

 

Only chance of getting the phone to work is to jump onto a GSM network like AT&T or T-Mobile.

It has all the bands for the sprint network according to reddit.
