bios update

Usually a good idea to run the latest driver, is there a reason you don't want to?

If anyone asks you never saw me.

should i update my motherboard bios to f8 from f4?

Are you having any sort of problem with your current mobo? Yes? Then try updating. Or if your mobo has dual Bios (the GAs do); if that's the case, just update, as you can fix it if you screw up.

If not, however, just stick to your current Bios.

what model of mobo you got?

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

gigabyte g1 gaming 7 z97

I'll assume this one: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4959#ov

It says right there "GIGABYTE UEFI DualBIOS". If you screw up the first one, don't worry, the second will have you covered.
