So, I just loaded up MSI afterburner, messed with some things (didn't mess with voltage mind you) and I managed to get around 1460 Mhz from my g1 980 ti (stock cooler). Am I reading the numbers wrong, is this normal and cool, or have I enabled a setting that will really screw me over if I'm not careful?

Have run stress tests now for about 4 hours, and it seems stable.

Its rly hard to screw up gpu oc. u cant really over voltage and over heating. or at least not on after market cooler. So go nuts and make sure its stable. also u dont need to stress test for 4hrs, 30mins is enough.

Yeah, had the stress test running when I was out of town. Well, I'm going to mess around with settings some more. Thanks for the input mates :)

Actually u need to monitor ur stress test, unlike a cpu, instability is determine by artifacts. It might crashes but mine never did. I always stop the stress test when I see artifacts and dial things down
