Flagship windows phones?

Hello, I'm looking into buying a new phone. I think I'd like to try a windows phone. Not totally decided yet.

I use few apps (like reddit almost exclusively) and I assume there is a reddit app for windows phone.
 

But from what I can tell there's no new windows phones. Just old ones from like 2013.

 

Should I wait until there's a new phone or are the old ones good enough?

Any recommendations?

Lumia 640(or XL if you like big). Flagship Windows Phones don't make a whole lot of sense since they are basically "wasted horsepower". There is the Lumia 930 and HTC One if you desire flagship though, and a couple of ugly ones on the way. There is a Reddit app, quite a few actually, but Baconit is the best from my experience. Most apps are weak compared to their Android and iOS counterparts, assuming there even is an app.

 

I have two Windows phones for "testing", although in its current state it cant replace either iOS or Android for me since its just not quite there yet.

I have a Window phone and I do kinda regret buying it... The Microsoft compatibility was quite nice as regards to file transfer and account sharing etc, but the lack of Apps and things to do with them, I'd rather have gone for Andriod.. But hey, live and learn!

Microsoft is due to announce a new line-up of Windows Phones later this year. You should wait a couple more months (I forgot when exactly they're due to announce/release them)

 

Windows Phone 10 will be available for all current Windows 8/8.1 phones later this year, aswell.

OP wanted flagship. Those are usually expensive at launch
