Windows 10 explorer driving me nuts

Reciently for some reason explorer has been driving me nuts and i cant understand what the problem is.

 

When for example im browsing through a folder explorer will suddenly jump back to the start of the folder for no reason and if im attemping to sort files in the folder by selecting a few it can become very frustraing.

 

Can anyone suggest what the issue maybe?

Sounds like you have something else playing games on you. Check for malware & viruses.

Make sure you didn't install or had installed back in Windows 7 some tool bar os what on explorer. If you tweaked Windows 7 or 8 previously and upgraded to Windows 10, it can explain the odd behavior.

My recommendation is to do a clean install of Windows 10. Of course, backup your stuff before as your drive will be formatted.

This is a fresh install of 10 only been on here about 2 weeks at max.
