Hello,

I recently started gliding lessons and it would be really fun / great to get a good action camera to use up there, My budget is around £100.

What would be best with mounting being a headband or even just a suction cup.

Second hand gopro or sony action cam. you can get a used hero 3 black edition for around $150 usd in my area. see what they go for in you area because something like that would perform many times better than any brand new camera at that price.

Hi,

If you need an affordable, but still decent camera, maybe consider buying Drift Stealth 2. I use it on a helmet when I ride my bike. It's light and small and its shape is aerodynamic: bullet not a cube. Additionally, its batteries live about 3 hours, which is the longest time among such cameras available on the market.

Here you will find more: http://store.driftinnovation.com/cameras/drift-stealth-2.

I recommend you also to take a look at reviews - there are plenty of them on the web.

Ok Thanks, I may go for the Yaomi one as its fairly cheap. For a headmount should I just use the same headband / mounts for a gopro hero?

You need to get one of those waterproof cases and then you can use gopro mounts.

Camera only has tripod screw like Gopro's do.
