I have a C70 with with 7 case fans going right now. 2 of those are on a radiator and being used as exhaust. My question is that the GPU along with being a wall that blocks airflow, has it's fans pointed down while my airflow because I'm using the dust filters in the case is from lower front to upper back. I'm worried I'm getting turbulence around the GPU. I also have to have a SP fan right up against the GPU because of my HD cage, I would move it down but that would require another power cable to the opticle reader.

Any way to tell if you have turbulence?

Any suggestions on fan placement?

Here's a pic of the inside of the case.

If you can, use high SP fans on the front. 7 fans is more than enough, you shouldn't have any issues and don't worry about dead spots, if you get weird overheating of a particular component then maybe change something, but your airflow has a pretty defined path, you should be fine.
