Hey, I have an MSI Z97A Gaming 6 my question is it safe to use MSI Live update to update my bios?

CPU: i7-4790K MOBO: MSI Z97A GAMING 6 RAM: G. SKILLS RIPJAWS X 1600 STORAGE: 120Gb KINGSTON SSDNOW V300 | 1Tb WDC BLUE RAM: G. SKILLS RIPJAWS X 1600  COOLING: CORSAIR H110i GT PSU: SEASONIC S12II 520W 80+ BRONZE CASE: NZXT S340

You should only ever update the bios if you have to. If your system runs out of power during the update it will brick the motherboard not to mention the other problems that could occur.

As long as you are almost 100% sure the power wont go out and the computer will be stable for the entire process along with a stable bios version to update to you should be fine, worst comes to worst you can get a new bios chip.
