which model of the MSI H97 your got?

 

is the LAN detected in the device manager?

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

I have the gaming 3. I don't think it can detect it

look at the device manager and look for Realtek PCIe LAN or similar

 

if it not there

 

try to install the LAN drivers from the disc
