Msi H97 Internet problem

Okay I just built my pc and installed windows 10 I have a netgear powerline 500. I plug it into the wall near my wireless router and plug the cord in. I Have one in my room and plug it into my computer but I'm not getting Internet and LAN port won't light up

which model of the MSI H97 your got?

 

is the LAN detected in the device manager?

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

I have the gaming 3. I don't think it can detect it

look at the device manager and look for Realtek PCIe LAN or similar

 

if it not there

 

try to install the LAN drivers from the disc

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

I don't have an optical drive could I get them with usb on a different computer?
